(29/05/2007) Two large openworks are present on the southern edge of the woodland which are not shown on the Wheal Cumpston plan. Both open works are irregular in shape and steep sided. The southern open works measures approximately 20m by 8m and the northern open work 10m by 4m.
The open works should be kept free of any new planting.
