Full description
Google, 2019, Google Earth Pro, June 2018 (Aerial Photograph). SDV363088.
A rectilinear dark cropmark, approximately 1 metre wide, is visible. It appears to form the western end of a sub-rectangular enclosure, approximately 22 metres wide with a visible length of more than 36 metres and rounded corners. It does not fit into the surrounding field system and is likely to pre-date the post-medieval period. It is interpreted as a ditched enclosure of probable prehistoric date, of a shape and size potentially consistent with an interpretation as a Neolithic mortuary enclosure.
