SX 63545840 Platform. Platform on steep west-facing slope west-south-west of Broomhill Farm, long axis running across contour with well-made path at both ends. Main part of platform measures 9m wide by 4m front to back where it is cut into the slope up to a maximum of 1.2m. There is a regular square feature cut into the bank at the south end. The platform extends to the north along the slope another 6m by 2.5m maximum, although this may be simply a wider, well-made track. The front of the platform on the downslope is revetted with stone to a maximum height of 0.5m. Vertical drop to river of approximately 12m in front of platform. Condition very good, apart from slippage at the front of the platform; a number of sycamore trees grow around the platform. Continuing along the contour north-south is a well-made terraced path, 1 - 1.5m wide, vetted on the downslope side.
