Name:Enclosure in field south-east of Parkland Farm

Summary

Rectangular enclosure, aligned north-west by south-east, sited adjacent to present field boundary which serves to define its northern extent. Three sides survive, of stone construction, with overall dimensions of 15m by 27m. Three possible internal subdivisions may be distinguished, two at the north-western end of roughly similar size (5m by 7m), and one in the south-east corner (8m by 8.5m). Clearly defined entrance on the north-western boundary, serving to divide internal enclosures. No hut circles visible. Presently covered by carpet of vegetation.

SX 59536163 Enclosure. Rectangular enclosure, aligned north-west by south-east, sited adjacent to present field boundary which serves to define its northern extent. Three sides survive, of stone construction, with overall dimensions of 15m by 27m.
