Summary

Large, broken, clearly worked curved granite feature near tramway and not far from broken cider mill stone MDV27870. This stone is much larger and measures around 2.7m metres in length, by 0.3m. Has been suggested as a possible annular cider trough.

Curving piece of granite clearly visible on the aerial photography. Artefact measures approximately 2.7m metres in length, by 0.3m wide.

(january 2022) SX 75458 77741 Large, broken, clearly worked curved granite feature noted during visit; previously unrecorded. Lies not far from the abandoned broken cider mill stone right next to the Holwell branch of the Granite Tramway but is much larger; possible annular cider trough.
