Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

A building with an adjacent enclosure to the east and another enclosure to the west, set within open woodland, are shown on the circa 1840s tithe map. The enclosures are clear of trees and are likely to be paddocks. This parcel of land along with surrounding parcels appear to be excluded from the tithe rent charges and are probably part of the estate of the Barton of Eggesford.
