On the 1886 historic map this irregular shaped field was part of the larger plot to the west. Since then a wall was constructed to create two fields – possibly with the intention of creating new woodland on the site.
These walls are locally important as they indicate changes in land use history. The walls should be kept free of saplings and scrub.
