Summary

Adit recorded during walkover survey in October 2005 associated with Holne Park Mine (later South Park Mine). Adit provided access to the underground workings of the mine. The entrance, which is partially blocked with earth is 0.5m high and 0.8m wide. The adit leads into the hill side for at least 20m.

Adit at SX 733694. Adit that provided access to the underground workings. The entrance, which is partially blocked with earth is 0.5m high and 0.8m wide. The adit leads into the hill side for at least 20m.
The adit is important in the local context and should be excluded from areas of new planting.
