Summary

Bank recorded during walkover survey in October 2005. Field bank constructed of earth and stone. It is of an unknown age or purpose. The bank is very similar in form to the bank to the east (MDV133403) suggesting that they might be contemporary.

Earth Bank at SX 7280 6936
This field bank is made of earth and stone. It is of an unknown age or purpose. The bank is very similar in form to the bank to the east (MDV133403) suggesting that they might be contemporary. The overall length of the bank is unknown, It was possible to follow the feature for 20m before it was lost in the dense undergrowth.
The field bank is of local importance and should be kept free of scrub and saplings. The area should be excluded from new planting.
