This adit is still open and entry is prevented by a metal grid and gate. The portal is about 1.5m high and 1.5m wide. The levelled bed of a tramway runs off to the north from the mouth of the adit, following the contours around to a point close to the mine buildings where it has been obliterated by a track bulldozed around the road for forestry access.
