Summary

Recorded during a walkover survey in 1985, this probable charcoal burning hearth consists of an oval platform 9m long (along contour) by 6.5m wide. The centre 4m of the downhill side is revetted with rough dry stone walling to a height of 0.5m.

Charcoal burning platform - SX 7746 8441
Oval platform 9m long (along contour) by 6.5m wide. The centre 4m of the downhill side is revetted with rough dry stone walling to a height of 0.5m.
