Field boundaries in this location are orientated roughly north-south and east-west.

Google, 2019, Google Earth Pro, 22-JUN-2018 (Aerial Photograph). SDV363088.

A system of linear dark cropmarks is visible, orientated east-south-east to west-north-west, within two modern cultivated fields. It is interpreted as having formed over the buried remains of a later prehistoric coaxial field system. A curvilinear cropmark at circa SX9777591323 may be a small enclosure or ring ditch, apparently appended to the north side of one of the boundaries.
