Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

A long curving leat serving both North and South Hooe Mines is shown on the Bere Ferrers Tithe Map. It appears to have started to the north of Whitsam.

The leat, or part of it, may be the same as the section recorded on a plan of North Hooe Mine dated 1873, referred to in the above correspondence, and which is now a footpath.
