Initialled stone. Extant. 'm. H. ', but no date, on newtake wall. Vis=-/9/1978 (robinson, r. ). A medium sized granite boulder at the base of a newtake wall at the head of diamond lane on the north side bears the initials m. H. Crudely and shallowly carved. They are found about 20m beyond the gate giving access to the open moor.
