(Found 2010) A medieval finger-ring consisting of a simple D-sectioned hoop, engraved with three tau crosses. The tau might signify devotion to St Anthony, who was recognised by this symbol. The finger-ring is gold and dates from the fifteenth century. It has suffered some abrasion from its time in the ground (J P Robinson, Curator of Medieval Collections). Acquired by Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter after being declared Treasure.
