Summary

Cast copper alloy pot leg, from a large vessel such as a cauldronfound in 2004. The foot is in the form of a stylised paw, with the two central ribs clear at the front, although the pot leg is very worn. It probably dates from the 14th to 17th century, as these vessels were manufactured and in use over a wide period of time.

(Found 2004) Cast copper alloy pot leg, from a large vessel such as a cauldron. The foot is in the form of a stylised paw, with the two central ribs clear at the front, although the pot leg is very worn. It probably dates from the 14th to 17th century, as these vessels were manufactured and in use over a wide period of time.
