(1978) A pillow mound or rabbit bury lies north of Corringdon Farm on the open ground of Corringdon Ball, close to the field wall to the east. It is rectangular with round corners, lying up and down the slope, and is turf-covered. It measures 14.0 metres by 7.0 metres, height 1.0 metre. There is a trace of a surrounding ditch. The area is bracken covered in summer.

(06/07/1979) Three pillow mounds, centred at SX 675606 on the southern slopes of Corringdon Ball. Two are aligned with the slope and measure 12.0m long, 5.5m wide and 0.8m high, with ditches 2.0m wide and 0.3m deep. Both are bracken covered. The third mound follows the contour; it is 12.0m long, 8.0m wide and 1.0m high with a ditch on the north east side 1.5m wide and 0.2m deep. If it were not for the ditch it would seem nothing more than a clearance heap, being constructed of large boulders which are to some extent turf-covered.
Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD.
