(Found 2019) A copper alloy fragment of a spoon from the post medieval period, c. AD 1689-1702. Fragment comprises the terminal of a trefid form spoon, preserving a bust and inscription. The spoon is broken just where the broader terminal would join the spoon stem, and is somewhat damaged along its upper perimeter although its main form is preserved. Obverse face has stylised classical bust, probably King William III, reverse has a series of three raised initial letters, arranged in a triangle, reading S/ IS; may be initials of the maker.
