Full description

British Museum, 2023, Portable Antiquities Scheme, 2023 (Website). SDV365320.

(Found 2004) [DEV-AE0F80] Struck flint flake. It is 27mm in length and 13mm at the widest point. It is broken at the base, suggesting it may have been a blade. There is a small area of cortex at the striking platform. It is grey in colour with patches of lighter grey. It is triangular in section and has several flaking scars on the dorsal surface. There is no evidence of retouch. It was found with DEV-ADD805.
[DEV-ADD805] Struck flint blade. It is 50mm in length and 19mm wide tapering to 5mm at the point. There is a small amount of cortex around the striking platform. It is light grey in colour and almost triangular in section. There are flaking scars on the dorsal surface and the ventral side is concave. The blade was found with a broken struck flint flake (DEV-AE0F80).
