Full description
British Museum, 2023, Portable Antiquities Scheme, 2023, HAMP-0DCDA2 (Website). SDV365320.
(Found 2011) A Late Mesolithic/ Neolithic (6500-2100 BC) retouched flint flake, possibly a bladelet. Measures 32.27 x 12.37 x 4.42mm and weighs 1.45g.
The flint is grey in colour and opaque with light retouch to the right dorsal edge and heavier pressure flaking to the dorsal distal end and left dorsal edge. Roughly half way along is a slight notch. Retained by finder.
