Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Photos of a two storey bank barn at Hill Farm. Of rubble stone with a modern, hipped roof. The north wall is set into the rising ground with a large, partly buttressed double doorway, at first floor level. Both the north and west walls are rendered. There is a modern, corrugated lean-to against the west all, by the roadside. The south wall has an arched doorway and two slit windows at ground floor level and a single doorway at first floor level, opposite the double doorway. The east wall has three small double windows at eaves level.

The bank barn has now largely been demolished. Only the ground floor remains with a modern monopitch roof. The modern, corrugated lean to on the road end of the building is still largely extant.
