Summary

Granite trough, dockwell. Extant. Found in nearby walls. Vis=1/3/1979 (robinson, r. ). These two granite troughs were found by mr dance of dockwell farm while rebuilding walls in the vicinity and are now placed at the entrance of the green lane between dockwell farm lane and the dockwell moor gate. They may be unfinished but do not appear so. The smaller is broken and may have been discarded after use or in the making while the larger appears usable except for a small crack at one side and seems to be of full depth. Dimensions given on worksheet.
