The building has changed little since the 1970s. It is a three story building, with the same roof line as No. 5, possibly originally all part of the same building. It has a projecting brick façade at ground floor level on both The Strand and Maiden Street frontages, with a curving verandah type roof over. Above, the corner of the building is rounded and there are bow windowns on the first and second floors facing The Strand. The Maiden Street elevation has no windows or features above the ground floor.
