Two parallel linear anomalies (Groups 23 and 24) were recorded during a geophysical survey carried out over three fields to the west of Chard Road on the north-east edge of Axminster, in advance of a planning application. They possibly represent the bank (23) and ditch (24) of a former field boundary.
