Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 650 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Depicted on the Ashburton Tithe Map with three buildings set around a yard. Marked as 'Buildings and Yard' on the apportionment (plot 650). Owned and occupied by a John Berry. A narrow rectangular building aligned east-west borders the southern edge of the plot; two smaller rectangular buildings (also aligned east-west) lie to the north of the plot.

Broadly similar to the 1840s Tithe Map depiction, some additional structures are shown on the late 19th century historic map.

'Hele Linhay' is depicted on the modern mapping. Footprint of the buildings on northern side of the area matches those shown on the late 19th / early 20th century historic maps. No building survives on the southern edge of the plot by this time.
