Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 1374 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Tithe Map depicts two different buildings here (Plot 1374); an irregular roughly rectangular dwelling aligned north-south on the eastern side of 1374 with a square structure close by to the west.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The late 19th century historic map shows the 'Vicarage' here; a substantial, irregularly shaped building set within grounds. This may represent an amalgamation of the buildings shown on the Tithe Map.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

Largely unchanged on the early 20th century historic map; the Vicarage building appears still in use at this time.

Royal Air Force, 1946 - 1949, Royal Air Force Aerial Photographs (Aerial Photograph). SDV342938.

The building has been demolished by the time of this aerial and another building (presumably a replacement) lies to the west.

Ordnance Survey, 2023, Mastermap 2023 (Cartographic). SDV365227.

Not depicted on the modern mapping; a modern dwelling ('Devlon') now occupies the plot. 'The Old Rectory' building (early-mid 20th century in date) survives to the west.
