Summary

Site of a former farmstead which is depicted on the 19th century Tithe Map. Only one building was still standing in the 1940s but that too has now gone. However, the southern boundary of the farmstead is still respected within the modern field boundaries.

Full description

Recorded as Houses, Court and garden (Plot 132) on the Clyst St Lawrence Tithe Apportionment

Farmstead depicted, comprising the farmhouse with a garden to the south. Adjoining the eastern end of the farmhouse is a range of buildings forming the north side of a small yard, which also has ranges of buildings along the east and south sides. Another small building is shown off the south-west corner of the garden.

Only two buildings are shown, standing within an orchard.
