Summary

Millstone, bullsthorne cross, not located. Vis=estimated -/-/1978-79 (robinson, r. ). William crossing, in both the guide to dartmoor and the dartmoor worker mentions a circular millstone at bullsthorne cross. He had learned from an old man that it was intended for owley mill and that his informant remembers very well when it was cut. Crossing describes it as having socket in the middle and it sounds very like others in the south brent parish. Careful search has failed to find it and mr mead of bullsthorne farm nearby has no knowledge of it. It seems likely that it has been broken up or removed.
