Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Not shown on the Tithe Map, the late 19th century historic map depicts this building attached to number 80 to the north.

(Image dates 2009 - 2021) Number 78 The Square is a two storey building with tiled, gabled roof with brick chimney at the left hand (southern) gable end. Doorway is off-centre with a large display window beside it suggesting a possible business use in the past. Decorative timber surround on this window. 4-pane sash to the left on ground floor and matching 4-paned sash windows on upper floor.
