HER Number:MDV134380
Name:13 The Square, Chagford

Summary

Building dates to at least the early-mid 19th century, based on cartographic evidence. Depicted on the 1840s Tithe Map, it appears likely the left hand side of the building was once separate due to the existence of two doorways and the large display window at ground floor level suggests it may have hosted a business at some stage.

Three 4-pane sash windows on upper floor of a consistent size, two non-matching 4-pane sashes at ground level to the right of an additional former doorway.

Ordnance Survey, 2023, Mastermap 2023 (Cartographic). SDV365227.
