Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plot 92 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Depicted on the Tithe Map, the building is part of the rectangular property marked in Plot 92; 'the Bakers Arms Inn and Cottages'), on the northern side of Mill Street. Additional, detached building shown to the rear.

The late 19th century shows possible alterations of the buildings here, with some sub-divisions.

This version of the mapping shows the building to rear now joined to the main building fronting onto the road.

(Image dates 2009-2021) Ladysmith House is visible as a rendered two storey building with timber door on right hand side with timber detailing surrounding it. Two matching 5-pane sash windows on ground level to the left of the doorway with two 5-paned sashes on upper floor.
