Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Pair of stones are depicted on the late 19th century historic map, close to the route of Shaugh Tunnel. One is shown close to the western boundary of the tunnel (SX 5198 6807), the other to the north-east on the road boundary at SX 5200 6808.

The stones are both shown on the early 20th century historic map, although the area has been redeveloped and terrace of houses built to the south of the road. One stone has been repositioned, so now both are shown as roadside stones, at SX 5198 6810 and SX 5200 6808.
