Full description

SX 56400 73394 Building (site of). Hollow about 0.25m below level of track bed (Royal Oak Siding DR+T_FQ_001). The hollow is cut into the southwest bank of the railway cutting (DR+T_FQ_006) and is a total length of about 7.5m north-west to south-east. The first 5.5m to the northwest is about 3m across, narrowing to about 2m for the last 2m in the southeast. The maximum depth of the hollow is about 0.75m. Its position roughly coincides with that of a building depicted on the second edition Ordnance Survey map.
As the site of a building this is in a poor condition - there being no discernible structural remains present. The site is at least stable.
