HER Number:MDV134488
Name:Drain on line of Princetown Branch

Summary

Small stone-lined drain aligned north-south under the track bed. The lower (southern) end is blocked. The interior measures 0.30m (width) x 0.2m (height). Presumably it extended the full 6m width of the track bed. A 0.8m long, 0.4m thick and 0.2m tall stub of stone walling at the northwest corner extends across the drainage ditch running along the higher side of the track bed. This tiny wall stub was presumably meant to help channel rain water from the drainage ditch into the stone-lined drain.

Drain at SX 57565 73142.
The condition is good at the northern end, but the blocking-up of the southern end makes a full assessment impossible.
