The area for several hundred metres downstream just below the china clay pits at Bala Brook Head and 100m or so wide has been extensively streamed. It seems likely that the original course of the stream has been altered here. Scattered workings further down or near the junction with the Red Brook.

Area of tin streaming which extends from SX 6680 6394 in the south, northwards to SX 6572 6488 where there are high scarps of deep workings. Visible on 1946 RAF and NMR 1985 aerial photographs.
