Tinners' buries. Avon valley. Sx67656864. Extant. Vis=estimated -/-/1979 (robinson, r. ). The upper valley from the smallbrook plains upwards shows most evidence of tin mining. When the level of the water in the reservoir is low above the avon dam the tinners buries near the head of the reservoir denuded of turf are very striking and there are sporadic workings higher up.
