Drain at SX 55590 73346. Stone-lined and stone-faced (granite) drain running northeast-southwest under the Princetown branch track bed with slightly splayed coursed wing walls running off the lower (southwest) corners. The floor of the drain is strewn with small rubble stone. The drain takes water flowing out from a similar drain under the parallel Swelltor Quarry siding above to the northeast (DR+T_SQ_003). The interior measures 0.58m in height (maximum) x 0.59m width x c.5.8m in length. The wing walls extend another 0.9m to the southwest. At the lower end, the floor of the drain is c.1.2m below the track bed surface. The lower lintel slopes down slightly toward the southeast.
The drain appears to be in good condition and appears to be functional. It is largely clear of vegetation.
