Drain at SX 55584 71539. Stone-lined and stone-faced (granite) drain running east-west under the Princetown Branch track bed, a short distance to the south of the grass track across Walkhampton Common leading into Routrundle (DR+T_GWRP_060). The interior of the drain is 0.54m wide and 0.4m high with a rubble stone floor. The main, covered, section of the drain is c.5.6m in length. It has short, sloped, perpendicular wing walls on its lower (west) side, which extends outwards for c.0.6m. The drain conveys general rainwater run-off from the moorland slopes under the track bed.
The drain is in relatively good condition, although bracken and reeds are encroaching on the higher side and partially obscuring the opening.
