Drain at SX 55567 71452. A working drain running southeast-northwest under the Princetown Branch track bed. Little can be seen, but it appears to be typical of the stone-built drains used along this railway line. It is about 5.5m in length. The drain conveys surface spring water from the higher (southeast) side of the track bed to a c.1.2m wide, north-westwards running, open channel/gutter on the lower side of the track bed.
The drain appears to have almost entirely collapsed at both ends and looks to be in very poor condition externally. It is working adequately (at least in dry weather) as it is still conveying spring water under the track bed.
