SX 54753 71047. Narrow drain running south-south-east by north-north-west under the Princetown Branch track bed. The lower opening to the drain measures 0.17m (width) by 0.25m (height). The interior of the drain appears to be stone-lined. The higher (south-south-east side) should convey water from a 1.2-1.4m wide drainage ditch/gutter which runs parallel to the track bed. The higher end of the drain has, however, become choked up.
The drain is in a poor condition. A minor collapse of the edge of the track bed has led to the blockage of the higher end of the drain. This blockage has prevented the drain from working and led to a pooling of water at the higher end.
