Siding at SX 54550 70855. Rectangular area of stony (but now turfed over), made ground on the north-west side of the Princetown Branch track bed, between SX 54553 70869 and SX 54546 70841. It is c.7m wide and c.22m in length (north-north-east by south-south-west) and was constructed to accommodate a siding just outside the fields then of Dittisham and Horseyeatt (now of Peekhill). As it was built up on a moorland slope (facing west-north-west) it is c.2m in height on its lower side. A likely platelayers' hut (DR+T_GWRP_085) was built along the siding.
The site is now barely recognisable as a siding. The surface is uneven and covered in a thin layer of turf and short grass. It appears to be in a stable condition.
