Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plots 535 and 535.1 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

The Tithe Map depicts a cottage with adjoining building to south in this plot (535). Aligned north-south within the plot, they are recorded on the apportionment as 'Cottage and garden'. Plot 535.1 includes a linhay and yard. The linhay building is rectangular, aligned east-west and is located in the north-western end of the plot.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The late 19th century historic map shows a re-development of this site; the 19th century linhay building is still shown, but the cottage and adjoining building to the south-east are gone by this time and a range of three agricultural buildings are now shown adjoining the linhay and bordering the road. One is open-fronted. An additional open-fronted building has also been added, perpendicular to the linhay, creating an inverted L-shaped range.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

Largely unchanged on the early 20th century historic map.

Ordnance Survey, 2023, Mastermap 2023 (Cartographic). SDV365227.

Range of buildings are depicted on the modern mapping. Three of the buildings at the eastern end of the range have been converted into dwellings; 1-3 Liverton Court.
