Summary
County bridge stone in the hedge on the north side of the road. The stone marked the extent of roadway adjoining the bridge that the County was obliged to maintain. There was formerly another stone at a similar distance to the west of the bridge.

Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Stone marked on the north side of the road, about 100m east of Woolleigh Bridge. Another stone is marked a similar distance to the west of the bridge, on the south side of the road.

Site visit 2nd February 2012. County bridge stone on Castle Hill to the east of Wooleigh Bridge. On the north side of the road. The stone, marked with a 'C' is in good condition, although dirty. It dates from circa 1840.
