Summary

One of four unenclosed hut circles forming part of a partially enclosed hut settlement recorded in 1996. This hut 'C' has a1.8m wide and 0.5m high earthwork and single orthostat wall surrounds a 4.9m diameter internal area. A west-facing gap in the surrounding wall may represent a doorway.

(19/06/1996) One of four unenclosed hut circles forming part of a partially enclosed hut settlement. They each survive as a stone and earth bank surrounding a circular internal area. All are of the simple plan type and two have visible doorways.
Hut C [SX 6265 9242]. A 1.8m wide and 0.5m high earthwork and single orthostat wall surrounds a 4.9m diameter internal area. A west-facing gap in the surrounding wall may represent a doorway.
