Ordnance Survey, 1930 - 1939, 1930s Fourth Edition Ordnance Survey Six inch Map (Cartographic). SDV347563.

Spring and feature, possibly a well, are depicted on the 1930s Ordnance Survey map but are not shown on earlier historic mapping. Three other wells, a spring and a standing stone are also located nearby and are shown on earlier mapping.

A holy well was discovered over 70 years ago but is now covered with a barn and farm waste. A well structure was present at the time of discovery and a model was made by the finder of which images are available. The owner of the land would like to reinstate the well at some point in the future.
