Summary

Site of a K6 telephone box south of the bridge. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of King George V, these boxes are constructed from cast iron as a square kiosk with domed roof. This box was removed at some time between September 2018 and October 2021.

(Image dates November 2008 - 2023) Type K6 telephone box visible beside the cattle grid to car park area on images up to September 2018; has been removed from the site and is no longer visible on images from 2021-2023. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of King George V. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosk with domed roof. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and door.
