Summary
Site of a K6 telephone box in housing estate. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of King George V, these boxes are constructed from cast iron as a square kiosk with domed roof. Removed around 2020.

Full description

(Image dates June 2009 - June 2022) Type K6 telephone box visible beside road on earlirt two images; no longer visible on image dating June 2022. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of King George V. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosk with domed roof. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and door.
