Summary
A large circular enclosure was identified and recorded during 1994 walkover survey of Canonteign Woods. Located in the southern part of Waye Down, just to the north of the road, this features measures 10m or more in diameter with wall 2m at its highlight point, tapering down to entrance. Stone and earth construction with considerable covering vegetation and trees. Likely to date to the post-Medieval period.

(March 1994) A large circular enclosure was identified and recorded during 1994 walkover survey of Canonteign Woods. Located in the southern part of Waye Down, just to the north of the road, this features measures 10m or more in diameter with wall 2m at its highlight point, tapering down to entrance. Stone and earth construction with considerable covering vegetation and trees. Likely to date to the post-Medieval period.
