L-shaped farm building depicted on the Tithe Map, north-east of the dwelling. Horse engine house attached to the northern side of the barn structure. Pigsty building not shown on this map.

The late 19th century historic map shows the L-shaped barn building (with engine house) and an additional, smaller structure - the pigsty to the north.

Plan and elevation drawings of the threshing barn with ruined engine house and pigsty building at Beetor Farm were produced in October 1989 at a scale of 1:50 (commissioned by Dartmoor National Park). Barn is shown as rectangular, rather than L-shaped in these plans.

Visited on 25/08/2005. Threshing barn and pigsties included in survey. Stone built, roofed with corrugated iron. Barn appears similar to the 1989 plan / elevation drawings, but the pigsty building has been extended, with a breeze block / corrugated iron frontage hiding the original elevation of the building.

Modern mapping indicates the buildings; barn is rectangular, pigsty has been extended, roughly doubling its footprint.
