Great Nodden cairn 1 at SX53068620 of 11.0 metres diameter by 0.3 metres high. Cairns 1-3 lie within the field south of Nodden Gate, all well trampled and spread. Cairn 1 is a ring cairn with a circular bank 1.5 metres wide surrounding an uneven interior circa 8 metres across
